Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 24,058.04 million compared to TWD 25,528.92 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,147.98 million compared to TWD 1,587.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.35 compared to TWD 0.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.35 compared to TWD 0.49 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 48,835.99 million compared to TWD 53,095.13 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,522.33 million compared to TWD 3,400.98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.78 compared to TWD 1.05 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.78 compared to TWD 1.05 a year ago.
Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of tires. The main products include radial automobile cover tires, radial truck cover tires, motorcycle cover tires, bike cover tires, inner tubes and other tires. The Company is also involved in the manufacture and sale of rubber and tire-related industrial products.
