Moscow, Russia - November 24 - Cherkizovo Group, Russia's largest meat producer, has supported the HR in Agriculture conference as a partner and encouraged the industry to create its own community of HR professionals.

The HR in Agriculture conference took place in Moscow on November 22-23 and sought to help talent management and development professionals find and use new practices and approaches, welcoming about 200 participants from a range of companies. Amplua, an integrator for the talent management industry and HR event organizer, arranged the event.

The attendees discussed such pressing issues as addressing the talent shortage, recruiting young people, working with universities, improving labor productivity and automating HR processes, while also sharing their experience in employee development and motivation and corporate culture practices. Discussions of complex HR cases involved certified coaches, advisers, and experts from leading business schools.

Cherkizovo Group, with a headcount of some 34,000 making it one of the industry's largest employers, was a partner for the event. Speaking to the audience,Cherkizovo Group's Head of HR and Organizational Development Elena Pavlovaproposed following the example of other industries and creating a community of HR professionals in the agricultural sector. "I think this first meeting can pave the way for sharing professional experiences and ideas and establishing HR standards in this industry. It would be great to have such meetings regularly to discuss pressing issues, and a pleasure for Cherkizovo Group to host at least some of them," said Elena Pavlova.
