SHANGHAI (AP) _ China Eastern Airlines Corp. (CEA) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $81.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Shanghai-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share.

The airliner posted revenue of $2.48 billion in the period.

China Eastern shares have dropped 27% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 24% in the last 12 months.
