ENTERING INTO AN ENGINEERING CONTRACTING

CONTRACT FOR THE OIL AND

GAS STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION PROJECT IN

COLIMA, MEXICO BY A SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANY

This announcement is made by China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to announce that, recently, China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co., Ltd.* (中國葛洲壩集團國際工程有限公司), a subsidiary of China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd.* (中國葛洲壩集團股份有限公司) (a subsidiary of

the Company), has entered into an engineering contracting contract for the oil and gas storage and transportation project in Colima, Mexico (the "Project").

The Project is located in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. Its main work is the construction of oil and gas storage and pipeline facilities, railway connections and station facilities, as well as five oil and gas transshipment terminals in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. The contract amount of the Project is approximately USD254 million.
