China Gezhouba : CIIE｜Energy China Signed A Purchase Agreement with Siemens Energy

　　On the morning of November 5, CGGC under Energy China and Siemens Energy held a procurement agreement signing ceremony at the exhibition hall of the CIIE, which was witnessed by Song Hailiang, Energy China Party Secretary and Chairman, and Yao Zhenguo, Siemens Energy Global Senior Vice President. At the signing ceremony, Song Hailiang also accepted an interview from media reporters.

According to the agreement, Energy China will purchase gas turbines and steam turbine generators for a number of projects such as gas-fired combined cycle power stations.

Song Hailiang introduced that Energy China has thoroughly implemented the new strategic requirements of 'four revolutions and one cooperation' proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and has been committed to becoming a practitioner of national strategy, a pioneer in energy revolution, a high-quality provider of integrated solutions, and a guarantor of energy products and services in the whole society. Energy China will adopt a more open and inclusive attitude, present more sincerity in mutual promotion and win-win cooperation, be more vigorous and active, and go hand in hand with its partners in the global energy field to continue to promote the high-quality cooperation for building the 'Belt and Road'.

Song Hailiang said that Energy China enjoys the natural attributes of open cooperation, with early 'going global' experience, wide overseas business layout, rapid international business development, multiple global partners, deep multi-dimensional exchanges at all levels, it has made full use of the grand platform of the CIIE and reached consensus for numerous times with good results achieved. Through cooperation with world-class enterprises, Energy China has actively benchmarked with world-class standards, learnt from other's strengths, adhered to the 'Five Orientations', focused on the goal of 'three highs, two lows, and three strengths', and increased the construction from two dimensions- 'adjustment of structure, transformation of methods, optimization of stocks, and improvement of quality' as well as 'giving full play to the advantages, improving the weak links, expanding the increment, and opening new prospects', strengthened scientific management and system management to promote the high-quality, more efficient and more sustainable development of the Company.

After the signing ceremony, Song Hailiang and his delegation visited the booths of GE, ABB, Dell and other companies, and conducted business exchanges with the heads of foreign companies on the spot.

Zhou Hougui, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Energy China; Chen Xiaohua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Board Chairman of CGGC; Guo Guangwen, Chief Engineer; Heads of relevant departments of Energy China Headquarters, and Secretary of the Party Committee and Board Chairman of CGGC International Lyu Zexiang attended the above activities.
