China LNG Group Limited provided earnings guidance for the year ended 31 March 2020. For the year, the company expected to record an increase in loss for the year ended 31 March 2020 as compared to the fifteen months ended 31 March 2019. The estimated loss was mainly due to (i) operating loss in LNG business, (ii) impairment of account receivables, and (iii) impairment in loan receivables. The increase in the loss for the two periods is mainly due to the increase in impairment of accounts receivables and loans receivables in the financial lending services provided by the Hong Kong operations and the reduction in the operating loss in the LNG business.
