ANNOUNCEMENT ON CONVENING OF 2020 ANNUAL RESULTS PRESS CONFERENCE

China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd. (the "Company") proposes to disclose the 2020 annual results of the Company on the website of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (www.hkex.com.hk) on the evening of 19 March 2021. In order to enable investors to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the 2020 annual results and operating conditions of the Company, the Company proposes to convene a results press conference through webcast from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on 22 March 2021 to communicate with investors about the questions which are of common concern to them. Mr. Miao Jianmin, Chairman of the Company, Mr. Tian Huiyu, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Liu Jianjun, Executive Vice President and Secretary of Board of Directors of the Company, Mr. Wang Liang, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, Mr. Wang Jianzhong, Executive Vice President of the Company, Mr. Li Delin, Executive Assistant President of the Company, Ms. Liu Hui, Executive Assistant President of the Company, Mr. Jiang Chaoyang, Chief Information Officer of the Company and Mr. Zhu Jiangtao, Chief Risk Officer of the Company will attend the results press conference.

Investors may visit SSE Roadshow (http://roadshow.sseinfo.com) and Wind 3C Conference (http://peacall.wind.com.cn/l/jig) to watch the results press conference from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on 22 March 2021, and the questions which are of common concern to the investors will be answered by the Company on SSE Roadshow promptly.
