China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd. has received a letter of resignation from Mr. Zhu Jiangtao, an executive director of the Company. Due to the work arrangement, Mr. Zhu Jiangtao tendered his resignation to the Board as an executive director, the member of the Related Party Transactions Management and Consumer Rights Protection Committee of the Board, and the Executive Vice President. The resignation of Mr. Zhu Jiangtao shall take effect from May 23, 2025.
The resignation of Mr. Zhu Jiangtao will not result in the number of Board members of the Company falling below a quorum. Mr. Zhu Jiangtao has completed the work handover in accordance with the Company's relevant management regulations.
