China New Higher Education Group Limited Announces the Redesignation of Chan Tung Hoi from an Independent Non-Executive Director to an Executive Director and Announces Cessation as a Member of Each of the Audit Committees of the Board and the Nomination Committee

China New Higher Education Group Limited announced that Mr. Chan Tung Hoi has been re-designated from an independent non-executive Director to an executive Director and has ceased to be a member of each of the audit committee of the Board and the nomination committee of the Board with effect from 10 December 2024. Given his experience, background and past contribution to the Group's affairs, the Board believes that Mr. Chan is a suitable candidate for this position. Mr. Chan, aged 55, holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Jinan University.

He served in the Yunnan Provincial Committee of CPPCC during 2013 to 2018, served as the Vice Chairman of the Yunnan Province Youth United Association from 2010 to 2018 as well as the chairman founder of the Hongkong-Yunnan- Macau-Taiwan Youth Exchange Association in 2010. He is currently the Honorary Life Chairman of The Y. Elites Association the Vice President of the Yunnan Chinese Overseas Friendship Association, a CPPCC of the Yunnan Province and the President of the Association of Hong Kong and Macau Members of CPPCC In Yunnan Province Ltd.
