China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. reported that 2021 net profit rose from the previous year, driven by growth in its nonauto insurance segment.
The insurer said Sunday that full-year net profit rose 9.2% to 26.83 billion Chinese yuan ($4.21 billion).
Group operating income grew 4.4% to CNY440.64 billion, it said.
In 2021, the insurer's gross written premiums slipped 0.1% to CNY211.69 billion.
