BEIJING (AP) _ China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (SNP) on Sunday reported a loss of $437.5 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Beijing-based company said it had a loss of 37 cents. Losses, adjusted to account for extraordinary items, were 47 cents per share.

The energy and chemical company posted revenue of $67.56 billion in the period.

China Petro&Chm shares have decreased 25% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 22% in the last 12 months.
