CHINA RAILWAY GROUP LIMITED Anthem of CREC-"Trailbreaker"
The second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hunan Provincial Government, was held in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, from September 26 to 29.
Themed "New Start, New Opportunities, New Accomplishments," the expo was centered around the eight major initiatives of China-Africa cooperation put forward by President Xi Jinping, with focus on cooperation in fields like food, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals and health, infrastructure, and finance. A total of 22 side events, including an exhibition on achievements of China-Africa cooperation, were held during the expo. Nearly 900 companies from around 40 African countries as well as 26 provincial-level regions of China participated in the expo.
The booth of China Railway Group Ltd. (CREC) at the expo was designed and organized by China Railway International Group Co., Ltd. with the support of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. Its overall style manifested the CREC's corporate motto of "Pioneering Road Construction" as well as its business scope and non-business concepts. The booth displayed the corporation's achievements in the following four areas: "facilitating Africa's infrastructure connectivity through participating in infrastructure construction,""boosting Africa's economic development through promoting modernization," "achieving Africa's sustainable development through expanding the new energy industry" and "fulfilling social responsibilities and jointly fighting COVID-19."
