On November 19, the 2021 World Manufacturing Convention was opened in Hefei City, Anhui Province. Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, delivered a written speech. Chen Wenjian, president of CREC, attended the opening ceremony.

The four-day 2021 World Manufacturing Convention was themed on "innovation-driven, digitally empowered: global manufacturing industry aligned for high-quality growth." During the event, more than 20 online and offline events such as project communication, parallel forums and exhibitions were held to create a high-end exchange and cooperation platform for the development of the world's manufacturing industry.

With the help of the high-level platform provided by the convention, the participating organizations of the CREC will strengthen the promotion of the company's businesses while enhancing economic cooperation and communication with international partners. It will proactively integrate into the development of the Wanjiang Economic Circle and boost modern manufacturing, so as to promote higher-quality, more efficient and more sustainable development of the manufacturing and emerging industries of Anhui Province and build brand for "made by CREC" within and beyond China.

On the sideline of the convention, Chen Wenjian attended the symposium on cooperation and development between Anhui Province and central SOEs, and paid a visit to iFLYTEK. Chen also inspected China TIESIJU Civil Engineering Group and the CREC Hefei New Rail Transit Industrial Park.
