Anthem of CREC-"Trailbreaker"

On September 1 local time, the ignition ceremony was held at Red Star Glass Factory in Congo-Brazzaville, which was constructed by China Railway No.8 Engineering Group's Overseas Company, marking the official operation of the plant and a zero breakthrough in glass production in the African country.

Located in Central Western Africa, Congo-Brazzaville did not have a glass manufacturer in the past due to its underdeveloped manufacturing capacity and backward technologies, and all glass products were imported from abroad. To tackle this development problem that had plagued the country for many years, West International Holdings Co., Ltd. planned in early 2020 to invest in the construction of a glaverbel glass production line with a daily capacity of 140 tons in Congo-Brazzaville. The Overseas Company of China Railway No.8 Engineering Group won the bid for constructing the primary plant of Red Star Glass Factory as well as some subsidiary projects with its perfect construction strength.

The Red Star Glass Factory is located in the Kintele Region of the capital city Brazzaville, 15 kilometers from downtown Brazzaville. Construction began in March 2020, and the plant is expected to produce 140 tons of glass a day when it comes into operation.
