On November 24, the public communication network coverage on the whole China section of the China-Laos Railway was completed, enabling full coverage of the 5G network over a stretch of 508 kilometers. The First Company of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group participated in the project. At present, the China-Laos Railway's section in China has started trial operations, and the supporting public communication network project has begun at the same time.
The bullet train for trial operation on the China-Laos Railway arrives at the Xishuangbanna Station.
The engineers tested the signal strength of mobile communications on the China section of the China-Laos Railway, and the results showed that the voice quality on mobile network calls was good on average and the speed of networks provided by China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, China's three major mobile operators, met the standards.
