Anthem of CREC-"Trailbreaker"

The Lvzhijiang Bridge on Yuchu (Yuxi-Chuxiong) Expressway was connected on March 9. Invested and managed by China Railway Development Investment Group, the bridge was mainly constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, with participation of China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering under China Railway Hi-tech Industry Corporation Limited (CRHIC). Lvzhijiang Bridge breaks several world records: it is the first single-tower single-span steel box girder suspension bridge in the history of world highway construction, with the longest main span of the same type of bridge at 780 meters, and it has the world's steepest tunnel anchorage, which is angled at 54 degrees.

Lvzhijiang Bridge is a key control project of the Yuchu Expressway, with a total length of 798 meters and a two-way four-lane bridge deck with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Both ends are directly connected with tunnels. The steel girder of the bridge is divided into 61 segments, with the steel box girder total weight of about 10,000 tons, equivalent to the weight of the Eiffel Tower. The maximum lifting capacity of a single segment exceeds 180 tons.
