CHN Energy Zhunneng Group Invents Digital reflection for Mine to Fill the Technical Gap in China

As of August 1, Unmanned driving Digital Reflection for Mine, invented by CHN Energy Zhunneng Group, had been running stably for nearly one year. This system can simulate the on-site operation view of unmanned trucks in real time. Moreover, it displays the running speed, load value and operating status of the vehicles in real time, achieves simultaneous operation of real objects and virtual objects, and fills the technical gap in the Chinese mining industry.

Through a top-down approach and a perfect duo of the whole and the part, this system integrates virtual simulation system of unmanned trucks, real intelligent management platform for unmanned transportation operations and unmanned controller through physical communication links. As a result, a full-fledged large-sized simulation system platform takes shape. Moreover, by way of high-fidelity mine scenario construction technology, this system extracts 8K high-definition texture materials from the surveying and mapping model resources, undergoes a series of processes (such as topology and polygon surface normal baking) through an isometric 3D model, restores the mine scenario in the virtual world, and assists in simulation driving of trucks in the real mine. Background operators can monitor the running statuses and locations of all real vehicles in real time, and jointly form an organic ecological whole in conjunction with intelligent dispatching management system, unmanned truck system, 5G network communication system, electric shovel and collaborative operation system of auxiliary engineering equipment. In this way, monitoring platform system displays the pictures with vivid and realistic effects, which is of great significances to promoting the construction of intelligent mines.

Thanks to the application of Unmanned Digital Reflection for Mine, simulation exercise of trucks comes true prior to the actual operation. This pre-verifies the reliability of the unmanned vehicle operation, thereby reducing the wear and fuel consumption of truck under actual conditions, safeguarding the safety of the operators, and further scaling up the construction of intelligent mines.
