CHINA SHENHUA ENERGY COMPANY LIMITED During the recent Spring Festival period, Shendong Coal actively responded to the government's requirement for guaranteeing coal supply while strictly implementing China Energy's arrangements and deployments on energy supply. More than 10,000 executives and employees worked on the frontline, bringing warmth to millions of households in this winter. From January 21 to 27, the company produced 3.6 million tonnes of coal and achieved daily loading of 117 trains, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%.
During the Spring Festival holiday, senior managers of Shendong Coal visited grassroots employees who stayed in their posts, and inspected workplace safety. The company's operation safety department organized supervision squads to conduct firefighting inspections, especially supervision on night shifts, to ensuring stable, orderly operations and guaranteeing energy supply during the holiday period. All of its subsidiaries further strengthened incentives for workplace attendance and supply guarantee, increased frequency for shift change inspection, and enhanced supervision on high-risk and temporary jobs, ensuring sound on-site safety management and safe, stable and orderly production. To guarantee the balance and stability of production and transportation, all mines and coal cleaning plants worked together to prepare coal in a coordinated manner, the marketing and sales center organized the transportation of sold coal in a high-efficiency way, and the coal washing center took strict measures to strengthen management and control at the source, ensuring zero impact of vehicle freezing caused by extremely cold weathers.
