China State Const Eng : CSCEC Chief Engineer Meets with Chairman-elect of CIOB

• 　 On March 9, Mao Zhibing, Chief Engineer of China State Construction Engineering Corp., Ltd. (CSCEC), met with Rebecca Thompson, Chairman-elect and Senior Vice President of Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and her delegation, and the two sides had friendly and meaningful communication. The meeting was part of friendly visits to long-standing partners of the Chairman-elect before she official takes office, with the aim to reinforce the strategic partnership between two sides.

  Mr. Mao expressed his welcome to the delegation and extended his gratitude for CIOB's help for CSCEC to improve its project management and implementation its international development strategy. He also gave a short introduction of CSCEC's evolution, business scope, fast development, achievements and transformation, and reviewed long cooperation and communication with CIOB. He hope that with the strategic partnership, the two sides can conduct wider, more Perse and deeper cooperation, reinforce personnel and academic exchange, and make full use of respective advantages for win-win results.

  Ms. Thompson reviewed cooperation projects with CSCEC, and introduced development of CIOB in recent years and its future plans. She expected more and deeper cooperation with CSCEC, and hoped to deepen the strategic partnership by focusing on training for international talents for project management, mutual recognition of Chinese and UK standard, international exchange on project management and scientific and technological innovation.
