  • 　　On February 19, Executive Vice Governor Huang Chuping of Hubei Province and Mayor Wan Yong of Wuhan City went to inspect Wuhan Tianhe Airport Project (Phase 3) being undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd (CSCEC 3rd Bureau).
    The officials visited the site of T3 terminal building and learned about the general work arrangement of the project. They expressed the great importance attached by the Hubei provincial government to the airport project and expected that coordination would be well conducted by all participants of the project so as to complete it successfully.
    Work on Wuhan Tianhe Airport Project (Phase 3) was started on October 10, 2013. Being the largest aviation hub and the second airport with 'two runways' in Central China, it has a 114.95m control tower, the tallest in China and second tallest in the world. CSCEC 3rd Bureau works on T3 terminal building, viaducts in front of the terminal, aviation control tower, and related supporting works of International Building Extension, transition sections, etc. The total contract value is RMB5.1 billion.
