Recently, the opening ceremony of CSCEC-built four-lane upgradation project between Gaborone and Boatle was held, and Botswana's Minister of Transportation and Communications Thulaganyo Segokgo attended the ceremony.

Thulaganyo Segokgo gave positive recognition to the project in the ceremony and said that the successful opening-to-traffic was of great importance in improving local transportation, guaranteeing people's life and boosting local economic development.

In 2017, the upgradation and renovation project started along the A1 Highway from Botswana's capital Gaborone to Boatle. The project included 18.4-kilometer-long upgradation from previous two lanes to four, and the construction of two cross-river bridges and two overpasses.

During the project, CSCEC has positively performed its social responsibilities and provided local people with more than 1,800 jobs.
