2.Information for the Company's carbon steel sales volume (non-consolidated basis) is as follows:
The sales volume of carbon steel in March 2021 totaled 878,997 tons. Accumulated sales volume of carbonsteel as of March 2021 totaled 2,490,144 tons.
3. Monthly performance summary:
Benefiting from the recovery of steel market, the ASP and sales volume of steel department remained theupward trend. The increase of ASP, surpassing that of ASC, contributed to the higher operating income.
In addition, the non-operating income were higher in this month because of investment income from themining investment. The preliminary consolidated income before income tax this month increased by NT$1.786 billion in total.
