The sales volume of carbon steel in May 2021 totaled 822,458 tons. Accumulated sales volume of carbon steel as of May 2021 totaled 4,115,917 tons.
3. Monthly performance summary:
The increase of consolidated operating income in this month is mainly from the strong recovery of steel market, the rise in sales volume and ASP of steel department and the increase of ASP surpassed that of ASC. Besides, the non-operating income of last month included dividends income from the iron ore investment. The preliminary consolidated income before income tax this month increased by NT$ 1,458 million in total.
