China Television Company, Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 190.576 million compared to TWD 169.027 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 36.544 million compared to TWD 41.794 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 20.741 million compared to TWD 25.941 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.14 compared to TWD 0.17 a year ago.
China Television Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision of television advertising services. The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
