China Television Company, Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 178.226 million compared to TWD 191.820 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 38.155 million compared to TWD 20.816 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 22.263 million compared to TWD 2.793 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 368.802 million compared to TWD 360.847 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 74.699 million compared to TWD 62.610 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 43.004 million compared to TWD 28.734 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.29 compared to TWD 0.19 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
