Ching Chan Optical Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 144.359 million compared to TWD 132.281 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 16.929 million compared to operating loss of TWD 22.889 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 11.181 million compared to net loss of TWD 22.937 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.31 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.64 a year ago.
CHING CHAN OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in research, design, manufacture and sales of optical sorting machine used for detection of fasteners, as well as manufacture and sales of fastener former machines. The Company's main products contain optical sorting machines and fastener former machines. Optical sorting machines contain rotary disk sorting machines, eddy current sorting machines, conveyor sorting machines, glass dial sorting machines and first article inspection machines. Fastener former machines contain screw formers, bolt parts formers and others. It also engaged in sales, maintenance and after-sales service of hopper, conveyor system, packaging machine and other peripheral equipment for sorting machines.
