Chofu Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (TSE:5946) signed a share transfer contract to acquire Osaka-Technocrat Co., Ltd. from Yoshitusu Mine and Tetsuo Wada on March 2, 2017. Yoshitusu Mine will sell 51.25% stake. Chofu Seisakusho will acquire 800 shares of Osaka-Technocrat. As of March 2016, Osaka-Technocrat reported net assets of ¥142.54 million, total assets of ¥1.09 billion, sales of ¥1.49 billion, operating profit of ¥20.96 million and net income of ¥9.06 million. The transaction is expected to close on March 23, 2017.
CHOFU SEISAKUSHO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of hot water supply equipment, air conditioning equipment, system devices and solar equipment. Its main products include hot water supply equipment, such as oil-fired water heaters, gas-fired water heaters, electric water heaters, eco water heaters and cogeneration systems; air conditioning equipment, such as air conditioning, hot water systems and oil heating equipment for household uses; system devices, such as system bathrooms, system kitchens and bathroom vanities, as well as solar equipment, including solar power generation devices, solar underfloor ventilation fans and solar water heaters, among others. The Company operates the manufacture and sales of housing related equipment.
