Capella Announces Airborne Geophysical Survey at El Rojo and Habanero

Vancouver, B.C., June 1, 2011 - CAPELLA RESOURCES LTD. (TSX-V: KPS) ("Capella" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario to conduct a combined Z-tipper Electromagnetic (ZTEM) and Cesium-magnetometer survey of its 100% owned El Rojo and Habanero properties located in Southern Peru.

The Company holds four mineral concessions at the El Rojo (1) and Habanero Properties (3) that total 3,800 hectares in area, in south-western Ocuviri mining district, Puno Department, Peru. The Properties are located in a favorable mineralization terrain approximately 720 kilometers ("km") southeast of the Capital City of Lima.

El Rojo claims are nested between the historic Conaviri mine/wider exploration zone, currently explored by Lara Exploration Ltd. and Andres-Arasi mine, (formerly La Rescatada), owned by Aruntani S.A.C., acquired from AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. in 2005. The Habanero claim is located in the vicinity of Pinaya copper-gold project, currently operated by AM Gold.

The ZTEM survey is an airborne passive geophysical system with reported superior exploration depth (up to kilometers in depth) measuring resistivity and conductivity contrast features of the sub-surface. Using naturally occurring electromagnetic fields of the Earth, the ZTEM system measures the electrical response of the imaged area to greater depths using lower frequency channels and has the ability to penetrate conductive cover often associated with mineralized systems, which frequently limited geophysical investigations of the past. The combined magnetic/ZTEM system has been successfully used in mapping porphyry and skarn deposits worldwide and has garnered attention of the exploration community with the ability to demonstrate in greater detail the subsurface geology and mineralization in 3-dimensional representations.

The survey at Capella's 100% owned Habanero and El Rojo properties will appraise the entire 3,800 hectare land position testing new exploration targets across the properties. A total 430 line kilometers of ZTEM and Magnetic surveying is designed to sample on 300 meter line spacing in an east-west direction.
