The award-winning Chroma 8620 OBC and DC-DC Converter Power HIL Testbed is designed to test components electric vehicle charging systems and powertrain components. The system meets the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test requirements specified by ISO 26262, can simulate both normal and abnormal test conditions, and ensures a well-functioning safety mechanism in case of communication or control signal failure. Paired with Chroma 62000D Bidirectional DC Power Supply Series or Chroma 61800 Regenerative Grid Simulator Series, the testbed can meet users' testing needs in even more scenarios. Take for example simulation of bidirectional on-board chargers (BOBC) that are used in V2V, V2G, and V2L applications, extending to testing needs for the power grid, home charging, and outdoor charging. The testbed takes the next step for the new energy industry, driving it into the era of net zero carbon emissions.
