Referenceis madeto the Extraordinary GeneralMeeting of Shareholders No.1/2017 of CIMB Thai Bank PublicCompany Limited("the Bank"),heldon 24 February2017,which resolved to approve the increasein the Bank's registered capital by THB2,752,747,964.00, from THB12,387,365,839.50 to THB15,140,113,803.50 via the issuanceof 5,505,495,928 new ordinary shares with a par value of THB0.50 pershare and the amendment of Clause 4 of the Bank's Memorandum of Association tocorrespond with the increasein the Bank's registeredcapital ("Amendment").

The Bankis pleased to inform thatit hasregistered theincrease inregistered capital and the Amendment with the Departmentof Business Development, theMinistry of Commerce on 8March 2017. Therefore,the registered capital of the Bank is THB15,140,113,803.50 (fifteen billion one hundred forty million one hundred thirteenthousand eight hundredand threebaht and fiftysatang),consisting of 30,280,227 ,607 (thirty billion twohundred eighty million two hundred twentyseven thousand six hundred and seven) ordinary shares with a par value of THB0.50 (fifty satang) per share.
