VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

IN RELATION TO

THE INVESTIGATION INITIATED BY THE UNITED

STATES INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION ON CERTAIN CHASSIS

AND SUBASSEMBLIES THEREOF FROM CHINA

This announcement is made by CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") hereby informs the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholders") and potential investors that the Company noted the United States International Trade Commission (the "ITC") issued a notice on its official website in connection with the followings on July 31, 2020 (U.S. time):

Coalition of American Chassis Manufacturers, consisting of five enterprises, being Cheetah Chassis Corporation, Hercules Enterprises, LLC, Pitts Enterprises, Inc., Pratt Industries, Inc., and Stoughton Trailers, LLC, filed a petition with the ITC on July 30, 2020 (U.S. time), in relation to the initiation of anti-dumping and countervailing duty (the "Anti-Dumpingand Countervailing Duty") investigation on certain chassis and subassemblies thereof from China (the "Products under Investigation"). According to the process of the United States, the ITC will reach a preliminary determination on the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty investigation by September 14, 2020 (U.S. time).

According to the Global Trailer's 2018 top Global OEM ranking list for semi-trailer manufacturers (in terms of sales volume), the Group, as the world's No. 1 semi-trailer manufacturer, primarily engages in the manufacture and sale of seven major categories of semi-trailers in global major markets. At the same time, the Group is also a leading manufacturer of truck bodies for specialty vehicles and refrigerated truck bodies in China. Some container chassis trailers of the Group are exported from China to the United States in our global semi-trailer business segment.

The Group has been always following the trading principle of fair competition to develop its global semi-trailer business and committed to providing quality products and services to the Group's global customers, while attaching great importance to the healthy development of the industries in the countries and regions where the Group's customers are located. The Group will continue to closely monitor the progress of the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty investigation to duly determine the extent of impact on the business of the Group and will take all necessary measures to actively respond to the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty investigation to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the Group and the Shareholders. Generally, the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty investigation requires a long process. It is expected that it will take approximately 12 to 18 months for all procedures to be completed and the final results to be announced. The Group will notify the Shareholders and potential investors of any material subsequent developments in respect of the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty investigation in due course and will make continuous efforts to maximize the Shareholders' value and interests.
