CJ ENM CO., Ltd. provided earnings guidance of the second half of 2021. The company ill continue first half record operating profit numbers in the second half as well. The company will focus on profitability of all businesses and fortify digital transformation innovation and outstanding competitiveness. Therefore, as was disclosed, the company has revised management guidance. Revenue target at KRW 3.8 trillion remains the same, but guidance for operating target number has been revised up by 20% to KRW 300 billion, testifying focus on enhanced profitability. The company will continue to do best in the second half to overachieve goals.
CJ ENM Co Ltd, formerly CJ O Shopping Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company engaged in home shopping and catalogue sales business. The company operates its business through four segments. The Media Business segment provides broadcasting services through broadcasting channels such as TVN, OCN, and channel (CH) CGV, and sells broadcasting contents. The Commerce Business segment sells men's and women's underwear and apparel, accessories, bedding, electronics, cosmetics, sporting goods, furniture, household goods, kitchenware, food, and mobile phones through cable television home shopping networks, mail order, and the Internet. The Film and Performance Business segment is engaged in the production, distribution, and investment of movies, and operates the performance business.
