(Alliance News) - CleanBnB Spa reported Wednesday that its board of directors reviewed some management data -- unaudited -- for the second quarter and first half of 2023. During the latter, managed stays totaled 41,025, up 54 percent from 26,583 in the first half of 2022.
This operating result was also reflected in the gross booking volume, i.e., receipts from guests for managed stays, which reached EUR16.8 million, up 65 percent from EUR10.2 million collected in the first half of 2022.
In addition, in the first six months of the year CleanBnB registered a further important growth - by more than 500 units - of its property portfolio, which reached 2,115 units, distributed in more than 70 Italian locations? and managed exclusively, mostly with the "FULL package" formula of full management.
As for the second quarter, on the other hand, the company confirms a trend of continued growth in business compared to last year, with a total of 26,687 stays under management, up 51 percent from the 17,655 stays in the second quarter of 2022, and a volume of stay receipts of more than EUR11.8 million, up 64 percent from the EUR7.2 million in the same period of 2022.
Compared to the first quarter of 2023, the second quarter showed strong growth in both the number of managed stays - up 86 percent - and, in terms of collections, up 138 percent. This trend, the company points out, "is set to consolidate in the first months of the second half of the year."
CleanBnB's stock on Wednesday closed in the green by 1.4 percent at EUR1.08 per share.
