CMR, S.A.B. De C.V. Announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was MXN 657.751 million compared to MXN 250.529 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 50.821 million compared to operating loss of MXN 226.968 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 9.666 million compared to MXN 284.381 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was MXN 0.0176 compared to MXN 0.6948 a year ago. For the half year, sales was MXN 1,144.276 million compared to MXN 1,046.502 million a year ago. Operating loss was MXN 3.722 million compared to MXN 273.585 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 123.880 million compared to MXN 386.837 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was MXN 0.2258 compared to MXN 0.9451 a year ago.
CMR SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the management of restaurants. The Company's activities are divided into two business segments: Restaurants and Rental. The Restaurants division is responsible for the operation of fast food and Mexican restaurants under a range of brand names, such as Wings, La Calle, Fonda Mexicana, Chili's, Olive Garden, La Destileria, El Lago, Red Lobster, The Capital Grille, LongHorn Steakhouse and Bistro Chapultepec. The Rental segment includes leasing of commercial real estate. The Company operates in Mexico through Centro Restaurantero Mexicano SA de CV, Gastronomia Especializada SA de CV, Operadora Wings SA de CV and Conturmex SA de CV, among others.
