CNMC Goldmine Holdings Limited is a Singapore-based gold mining company. The principal activities of the Company are those of an investment holding and management company. The Company operates through two segments: gold mining and other operations. Gold mining segment is engaged in exploration, development, mining, and marketing of gold. Other operations segment include investment holding company and provision of corporate services. The Company's flagship project includes the Sokor Gold Field project, which covers an area of approximately 2,370 acers. The Sokor Gold Field project is located in the District of Tanah Merah, Kelantan, Malaysia and it is accessible by travelling southwest from the town of Tanah Merah. The area is underlain by mildly metamorphosed volcanoes of Permian and Triassic age. The Company's Kelgold project comprises an 100%-owned right to explore for gold, iron ore and other minerals over an area of approximately 11 square kilometers (km2).
