Holidays are coming and coffee is the perfect companion for a festive cocktail.
High quality coffee can stand on its own, but combining it with other premium ingredients can further highlight the flavour and characteristics.
Coffee based cocktails are a popular, developing trend worldwide as a digestif, warming or refreshing beverage, especially in early evening and post dinner drinking moments.
To get to the butom of it, we asked two of our coffee expects to share their favourite recipes for unique mocktails and cocktails with Costa Coffee. Why not give them a go!?

1. "Christmas Costalicious"by Savvas Petroutsos, Coffee Capabilities Expert, Greece & Cyprus Business Unit
The perfect beverage to get you and your friends into the Christmas spirit!
Ingredients:
150 ml milk
10g coconut sugar
1/4 tea spoon ginger
1/4 tea spoon clove
1/4 tea spoon cinnamon
1/4 tea spoon allspice
1/4 tea spoon nutmeg
20g cacao powder
2 coffee capsules (suggested: Costa Coffee signature blend)
Equipment:
Classic 300ml coffee mug
Coffee capsule machine
Ibrik (or equivalent device to warm up the milk)
Build-up:
Warm up the milk in a jug up to 70 degrees Celsius (ideal temperature 65 degrees)
Pour all the spices in the jug and stir to homogenize with the milk
Then, pour the cacao powder and stir to homogenize the beverage
Extract the two capsules
Mix the ingredients gently
Garnish with a cinnamon stick
2. "Espresso Tonic": the ultimate coffee mocktail by Anna Oleksak, Coffee Capability Lead, Poland and Baltics Business Unit and World Coffee Events Certified Judge, Q Grader, R Grader
Do you like espresso? What about a Fizzy espresso? Espresso tonic is a very refreshing and flavourful beverage, and the ultimate coffee mocktail. Try it after lunch as a digestif or when chilling out with friends at home on a relaxing evening - great for New Year's Eve party or.. the day after
Ingredients:
120 gr ice
20 ml passion fruit syrup
150 ml tonic water
30 ml espresso coffee (suggested: Costa Coffee Signature Blend)
Lemon grass as garnish/stirer
Equipment:
Costa Coffee cold brew glass or any other 300 ml glass
Build-up:
Put ice into the glass
Add passion fruit syrup, followed by tonic water
Pour gently espresso on top to form layers
Serve with lemon grass stick and mix before drinking
3. "Tennessee Coffee" by Savvas Petroutsos, Coffee Expert, Greece & Cyprus Business Unit
Looking for the ideal starter to a festive night? Mix up two different worlds and discover unique flavours with this twisted Irish coffee recipe.
Ingredients:
Double shot espresso coffee (suggested: Costa Coffee signature blend)
20 ml American whiskey
20 ml honey
Full fat milk cream
Equipment:
Classic Irish coffee glass
Bar spoon
3-piece shaker
Kettle
Build-up:
Pour the whiskey and the honey in the glass
Pour the espresso in the glass
Add 160 ml of water (75 degrees Celsius)
Stir to homogenize the ingredients
Shake 60 ml of cream in a 3-piece shaker
Pour the cream on the top of the beverage
