Belo Horizonte, December 03, 2020, Cogna Educação S.A. (B3: COGN3; OTCQX: COGNY) - "Cogna" or the "Company" pursuant to Article 12 of CVM Instruction 358 of January 3, 2002, as emended, announces to its shareholders, investors and the general market that the Company received from BlackRock, Inc. ("BlackRock"), the communication in the appendix, informing that BlackRock now holds 60,330,025 ordinary shares issued by the Company, corresponding to 3.21% of its total capital.

Cogna Educacao SA, formerly Kroton Educacional SA, is a Brazil-based company active in the private education sector.
