TORONTO (AP) _ Colliers International Group Inc. (CIGI) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $30.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company said it had net income of 67 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were $1.84 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.72 per share.

The commercial real estate services provider posted revenue of $1.13 billion in the period.
