When it comes to video content, consumers have more choices than ever before thanks to streaming services. More original content, first-run movies and classic movies and TV shows are going straight to streaming. As service providers continue to feel the effects of cord cutting, they understand the importance of adapting to the consumers 'streaming first' viewing preferences.

With this increased popularity, service providers are rethinking their video service strategy and the opportunities arising from changing consumer needs.

In October 2020, CommScope's Pablo Guaglianone, Vice President of Sales in EMEA, for Home Networks and I took part in CTAM Europe's 'What's next for video services' webinar. During the webinar, we discussed the following:

  • The use of cost-effective streaming devices and engaging user interfaces to enhance broadband services and enabling customer engagement.
  • The move from content aggregation to service aggregation, with smart assistants and the TV as a canvas for a suite of home services.

We believe that service providers today have a golden opportunity to deliver real value by providing a one-stop shop for all the popular streaming services. If you missed the webinar, then we provided the full webinar below.
