Compañía Cervecerías Unidas S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was CLP 558,502.88 million compared to CLP 469,994.59 million a year ago. Net loss was CLP 10,455.14 million compared to net income of CLP 18,967.86 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CLP 28.3 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CLP 51.33 a year ago. The International Business segment includes operations in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. The Company, through Vina San Pedro Tarapaca S.A. (VSPT), produces and markets a range of wine products for the domestic and mainly the export market.
