SGM Recticel 6/12/2021: Reaction of Compagnie du Bois Sauvage
Compagnie du Bois Sauvage respects the decision of the majority of Recticel shareholders to sell the "Engineered Foams" division. A General Assembly with such a high level of participation can be described as very positive.
The sale of the "Engineered Foams" division is part of the defensive measures which would enable Greiner to terminate the agreement to sell the Recticel shares held by Compagnie du Bois Sauvage if it so wishes. For the time being, Compagnie du Bois Sauvage will continue to act as an independent shareholder and exercise its voting rights. As announced, Compagnie du Bois Sauvage will vote in favour of the sale of the "Bedding" division at Recticel's Special General Assembly on December 24, 2021.
Compagnie du Bois Sauvage confirms that the sale of its stake in Recticel remains a strategic choice.
