Compal Electronics : 1H/2018 & 2Q/2018 Financial Results

Compal Electronics, Inc. ('Compal') (TAIEX: 2324) today announced 1H18 consolidated financial results. Consolidated revenue was NT$433,996 million, +8% YoY, contributed by the growth of PCs as well as Smart Devices. Consolidated operating profit was NT$4,678 million, +22% YoY. Consolidated net profit was NT$3,872 million, and net profit attributed to the parent company was NT$3,486 million. Earnings per share (EPS) was NT$0.80 in 1H18.

Consolidated revenue in 2Q18 was NT$237,884 million, +21% QoQ. Consolidated operating profit was NT$2,624 million, +28% QoQ, with the OPM rate of 1.1%, benefited from the enlarged scale. Consolidated net profit was NT$2,290 million, and net profit contributed to the parent company was NT$2,092 million, +50% QoQ. EPS was NT$0.48 in 2Q18.
