5.Cause of occurrence:The Company's two employees who worked at Taoyuan
Pingzhen plant went to TASTY Steak Restaurant on January 7th (Fri),
therefore they were notified by the government for PCR tests on
January 13th (Thurs) and were informed as the positive diagnosis
in the early morning of January 15th (Sat). The Company��s Pingzhen plant
immediately suspend all employees from entering and carried out the
plant-wide clean-up operations.
After reporting to the Department of Public Health of Taoyuan City,
the Company immediately cooperated with the government to contact all of
the employees of Pingzhen plant, personnel of third-party manufacturers
and suppliers, and colleagues of Taipei offices who ever visited during
the contact history. Total 1,800 people were contacted and conducted
PCR tests during January 15 (Sat) and January 16 (Sun). As of today, there
is another employee of the Pingzhen plant has been diagnosed as positive.
To respond carefully and further prevent the spread of the epidemic,
the Company established the epidemic prevention response team and
activated emergency response and upgraded the Company's epidemic
prevention measures. Before the PCR test results are fully confirmed,
the Company temporarily suspend the Pingzhen plant��s operation for one
week in accordance with government instruction. Other epidemic
prevention measures include:
(1) Suspend the movement of all employees across factories and offices,
and suspend the visits of external visitors.
(2) The public areas and meeting rooms of each building were closed,
and all meetings will be held via online-conference.
(3) Strengthen plant and office clean-up operations. Employees have to
 wear masks throughout the day and implement the proper personal
protective measures.
This event has not materially affected the Company's overall financial and
business conditions. The full year production output and consolidated
revenues for the Company are expected to be affected far less
than 0.1% during the suspension period.
6.Countermeasures:The Company's epidemic prevention response team will
closely monitor the epidemic situation, cooperate with the government,
and make the proper adjustments to the epidemic prevention policies
if necessary. The relevant epidemic investigation information is subject
to the government's public information, and the Company will actively
cooperate with the follow-up.
