Consilium : mar 15, 2017 Consilium and DASPOS A/S initiates a global win-win cooperation

Consilium and DASPOS A/S have today agreed to cooperate regarding global sales, service and installation of the Daspos Leakage Alarm Systems.

Two thirds of all on-board fires start in the engine room. The Daspos Leakage Alarm System (LAS-10) detects atmospheric oil and gas leakages in engine rooms caused by undesirable leakage of fuel oils, hydraulic oils and other flammable liquids and gases within the maritime sector. The detection measure principle is based on unique sensor technology which is targeted at predicting a leakage in the engine room. The system is very reliable - no false alarms caused by human interference etc.

The Daspos Leakage Alarm System is a unique product within its field and is a strong complement to Consilium's product portfolio within fire- and gas detection and will strengthen our offer to both ship owners and yards, says Marcus Andersson, Vice President Sales and After Sales with Consilium Marine & Safety. The preventive system can be installed as a stand-alone system or as an integrated system to a Consilium fire- or gas detection system.
