CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) _ Consol Coal Resources LP (CCR) on Monday reported a second-quarter loss of $7.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 28 cents.

The coal minining limited partnership posted revenue of $33.8 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $3.75. A year ago, they were trading at $13.50.
