MATTOON, Ill. (AP) _ Consolidated Communications Holdings Inc. (CNSL) on Thursday reported a loss of $115.7 million in its first quarter.

The Mattoon, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of $1.12 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 2 cents per share.

The telecommunications company posted revenue of $300.3 million in the period.
