Residential Savings Offers of up to 18 percent in Columbus Southern, 7 percent in Ohio Power; new customers to receive $25 gift card

COLUMBUS, OHIO - July 11, 2013 - Constellation NewEnergy, Inc., a subsidiary of Exelon (NYSE: EXC) and a longtime competitive energy supplier in Ohio, today announced the launch of residential electricity supply in the Columbus Southern Power and Ohio Power service territories.

Constellation is offering residential customers a 12-month pricing plan at 6.75 cents/kilowatt-hour (kWh) in the Columbus Southern Power territory, representing savings of up to 18 percent on the electricity commodity over the utility's current class average price to compare of 8.24 cents/kWh.*

The offer in the Ohio Power territory is also 6.75 cents per kWh, representing a savings of up to 7 percent over the utility's current class average price to compare of 7.28 cents/kWh.*

Customers in both service territories are advised to review their utility bill to determine their individual price to compare and savings opportunity.

In addition to the potential for savings on their electricity bill, new Constellation customers will be eligible to receive a $25 gift card†.
