Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo has introduced 10 Chargepoint EV charging stations, according to a woodtv.com report.

The stations can recharge up to 20 electric vehicles at a time. Six are located next to the solar array by Miller Auditorium, while the rest are near the office of sustainability, engineering, administration and physical plant facilities.

The university teamed with Consumers Energy to leverage a $50,000 grant from the company's PowerMIFleet initiative.
