Contact Gold Corp. is a Canada-based gold exploration company, which is focused on making district scale gold discoveries in Nevada. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and evaluation of certain mineral property interests in the State of Nevada, United States of America. Its land holdings are primarily on the prolific Carlin trend, as well as the Independence and Northern Nevada Rift gold trends which host numerous gold mines and deposits. The Company's land position comprises approximately 117.4 square kilometers (km2) of target rich mineral tenure. Its projects include Green Springs, Pony Creek and South Carlin Projects. The Green Springs Project is located at the southern end of Nevada’s Carlin Trend and encompasses three shallow past-producing open pits. The Pony Creek project is located within the Pinion Range, in western Elko County, Nevada. The Company’s South Carlin Projects include the North Star property and the Dixie Flats property.
