• Success for the sporty allrounder
  • 'ContiRoad' with test winner genes on the KTM 890 DUKE
  • High praise from former MotoGP rider Jeremy McWilliams

Hanover/Korbach, 18th January 2021. The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM and Continental Motorcycle Tires announce a great cooperation in the new year: the sporty naked bike 890 DUKE will have two hot soles on its rims as standard for its market launch in 2021: the ContiRoad. This latest sport touring tire is a new development from Korbach and produced in a Continental factory in Asia using latest machines and technologies. The genes of the multiple test winner ContiRoadAttack 3 were used during its development. The ContiRoad impresses with its agile handling, high mileage, excellent wet performance and grip.

KTM test rider Jeremy McWilliams, former MotoGP rider and Northwest 200 winner, had the opportunity to test the ContiRoad on the Contidrom. His conclusion: 'The ContiRoad starts working immediately building the rider confidence as soon as the ride takes off, giving very good feedback from both the front and rear tire is one of the ContiRoad strengths amongst others. In terms of grip in both wet and dry conditions the ContiRoad performs exceptionally well, the benefits it offers in all conditions with a very broad working range (commuting to very sporty riding) combined with great bump absorption for comfort set the ContiRoad out as a leader in this sector.'
